What's the role?
SMS delivers a fully integrated service from start to finish. From project managing the installation of gas and electricity supplies and connections, through to the procurement, installation, and management of meter assets, data collection, and ongoing energy management solutions, we provide a seamless end-to-end offering.

12 month Fixed Term Contract Maternity Cover
Working in Doncaster on a 40 hours contract, Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm.
Interviews will preferable be in person at the Doncaster office.
Key responsibilities:
- Demonstrates thorough working knowledge of the IFS system.
- Ensures planned jobs are accurately checked and efficiently dispatched to maximise asset installation across daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Oversees effective jeopardy management to meet industry SLAs and maximise completion rates.
- Collaborates closely with the Area Operations Support Manager to achieve performance targets, minimise GSOS, and drive continual improvement.
- Provides quality feedback and coaching to address skill and behavioural gaps, strengthening both individual and team performance.
- Conducts monthly performance reviews and manages people metrics, including efficiencies, behaviours, and alignment with Company values.
- Builds strong relationships with Field Managers and key stakeholders, continually seeking ways to improve operations and deliver the future of smart energy in line with Company vision and values.
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- You will have strong leadership experience and the ability to motivate and continually develop a team
- The successful candidate will be able to effectively communication with the domestic dispatch, planning and jeopardy teams, whilst also clearly and concisely report to Area Operation Support Managers
- Has the natural ability to problem solve and will be able to react and resolve back-office issues in an ever-changing landscape
- You will be able to work well under pressure whilst constantly considering opportunities for improvement and development
